Aurora

The classically British Aurora breathes a cosmopolitan air into the P&O Cruises line. The sophisticated atmosphere pervades all her rooms, a reflection of the international travel she has embarked upon.

Stepping inside the Aurora, the atmosphere and culture is evident. The grand welcoming Atrium features a calm and beautiful water feature, setting the scene for a relaxed cruise. The facilities inside are wide ranging, and provide very many activities to please every guest. There are a total of 12 different places to enjoy a drink on board, from Raffles coffee and chocolate bar to the Crow's Nest sundowner bar, there is a suitable seat for everyone there. The active guests will enjoy the golf simulator and gymnasium on board, as well as one of the three beautiful swimming pools, of which one has a skydome. Guests looking for some culture on board can look no further than one of the Tate Britain Talks.

Guests who enjoy fine cuisine will not be disappointed by the dining areas on board. From the open deck grill restaurant offering ocean specialities, to the Marco Pierre White gourmet restaurant (open from September 2008 onwards). After dinner there is yet more on offer on board, with evening entertainment including comedy, theatre and Music Festivals at Sea.

Once the evenings are over, guests retreat to their beautiful staterooms. Featuring King-sized beds alongside separate sitting spaces, and spacious bathrooms, each with a bath, and the larger staterooms and suites lead out onto private balconies, with space for chairs and table. There is a stateroom to suit everyone, with unique two-tier penthouse rooms available for extra special occasions. To cruise on the Aurora is to experience a worldwide atmosphere and cosmopolitan flavour. It is a rarely duplicated feeling and experience.
