Seabourn have introduced new shore excursions for their 2019 cruise season, including a selection of never before offered excursions.
The newly introduced shore excursions will offer a diverse mix of opportunities including wellness-focused tours of UNESCO World Heritage sites, Alaska, an exclusive visit to a Picasso Museum and also culinary & art experiences arranged through local connections.

Among the highlighted shore excursions is a visit to Kruger National Park & Lukimbi Safari Lodge for over three days. Lukimbi is said to be a photographer’s delight with spectacular wildlife and wilderness around every corner. Kruger which is South Africa’s largest game reserve is the land of baobabs and fever trees, the Big Five, the Little Five, and the Big Six of birding, plus more mammal species than any other on the continent. Cape Town, South Africa will be available on Seabourn Sojourn’s February 21st sailing. over five glaciers from Juneau to Taku Glacier Lodge where guests will join a certified yoga instructor for a soulful session surrounded by vies of the blue-hued glacier and enjoy a guided nature walk with likely wildlife sightings.
In Alaska, guests can look forward to the Taku Glacier Lodge, Glacier Seaplane Discovery and Yoga: A Mindful Living Tour. The tour will start with a flight in a classic de Havilland seaplane
In Italy, guests can book an experience for smaller groups on an excursion called Bocelli’s Favorite Things & Seaside Experience. On this tour, you will explore the walled town of Lucca and learn about its history, culture, and marvels which include the Piazza dell’ Anfiteatro, and the Church of San Michele in Foro. You will also learn about Giacomo Puccini, with a visit to his local apartment, the Puccini Villa and Puccini Theatre. Lunch on this tour is severed at the exclusive Bocelli Alpemare Beach Club run by the Bocelli family where you will enjoy a four-course lunch and tasting of wine from the Bocelli family farmhouse in Tuscany.
