Day One:
After disembarking at the port, tour Argentina‘s cosmopolitan capital including the central Plaza de Mayo area, cobblestoned San Telmo and colorful La Boca. Highlights include the Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo, Congress Building, and Teatro Colón. Finally, in the elegant La Recoleta district, enjoy a special lunch at a ’closed door‘ location, where you’ll also learn to make Argentina's famous empanadas. Later, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner on your own and overnight.

Day Two:
After breakfast the day is at leisure in Buenos Aires. This evening, you will enjoy dinner and a tango performance at the iconic Buenos Aires theater Rojo Tango. Start with welcome drinks, followed by a sumptuous dinner in the opulent surroundings. Your dinner finished, sit back and be mesmerized by the intensity, passion, precision of skilled professional tango dancers accompanied by a live orchestra. After this essential Argentinian experience, return to your hotel for overnight.

Day Three:
This morning, fly from Buenos Aires to the astounding Iguazu Falls, a bi-national UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning the border of Brazil and Argentina. Transfer to the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. Then visit the Brazilian side of the falls, surveying its 275 cascades from a suspended walkway. Experience the earth-shaking roar of the waterfalls and the rainbows glowing in eternal mists. Tonight, enjoy dinner in your hotel. The grounds of your hotel offer privileged views of the falls before and after the park is closed.

Day Four:
A full day tour of the Argentinian side of the falls, including a short train ride to a pair of walkways over the impressive Devil‘s Gorge cascade. Lunch will be at El Fortin. Later, take a ride through lush jungle to the Macuco Safari Boats, for a thrilling ride upriver through rapids to the base of the Devil’s Throat. Waterproof ponchos and bags for cameras are provided as you move through spray, rainbows and veils of mist, surrounded by the thunder of the mighty falls. Return to your hotel to dry off and enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day Five:
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. There, enjoy a scenic transfer to the Belmond Copacabana Palace located on the famous beach, passing the Tijuca Rainforest park crowned by the statue of Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado peak. The rest of the day is at leisure and dinner is on your own tonight on Rio. Overnight.

Day Six:
After breakfast, your full day guided survey of Rio de Janeiro reveals why the Cidade Maravilhosa is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site for its beautiful setting and unique culture. See it all from the height of Corcovado beside the Cristo Redentor statue. After a churrascaria lunch, experience Rio from a different angle in the Urca District, ascending the iconic Sugar Loaf peak by cable car for awe-inspiring views. Return the hotel for overnight.

Day Seven:
After breakfast at the hotel and a morning at leisure in the pleasant neighborhood, transfer to Rio's GIG airport for your homeward flight.
