New design information have been released by Crystal Cruises for their upcoming expedition ship, Crystal Endeavor.
The details that have been shared by Crystal’s president and CEO, Tom Wolber, show what the accommodation will look like on the new yacht.
Crystal Cruises released a statement about the new yacht: “At 19,800 GRT, Crystal Endeavor will be the largest, most spacious purpose-built polar class expedition yacht in the world, accommodating just 200 guests and boasting all the luxurious amenities and special touches for which Crystal is known. The yacht will feature generous public spaces, a full-service spa and salon, six restaurants including Nobu Matsuhisa’s Umi Uma, expedition rooms and elegant suites that contrast beautifully with the rugged adventures beyond the vessel.”
Tom Wolber commented: “Crystal Endeavor’s suites are an important part of the overall experience that is rooted in luxury and comfort, even while in the midst of extreme adventure. These suites will be private havens of relaxation and personal service welcoming travelers as they embark on journeys to the far corners of the world.”
Spacious surroundings await guests onboard Crystal Endeavor, with every suite consisting of a private verandah and butler service. There will be various little touches to the suites including walk-in closets along with heated storage, king-sized beds, spa-style bathrooms with heated floors and a range of other luxury features.
Crystal Endeavor will also boast some of the latest technology including iPads in every suite for guests to view details of their cruise, interactive TV’s and advanced lighting that reacts to the suite’s surroundings.
The exact information regarding Endeavor’s grades of accommodation have been announced. The highest grade will be the Crystal Penthouse Suites, there will be two of these suites on the yacht, both of which will be a size of 985 sq. ft to 1,130 sq. ft. The next grade below this will be the Penthouse Suites in which there will be eight of these and they will be a size of 457 sq. ft. The remaining 90 suites on the yacht will be Deluxe Suites which will be a size of 304 sq. ft.
The Crystal Penthouse Suites will feature specific dining venues along with the option to have in-suite dining prepared by the suite’s butler, this in-suite dining option will include food from the yacht’s Michelin-level restaurants.
