Regent Seven Seas Mariner has finished her refurbishment which marks the end of the company’s $125 million refit plan.
The refurbishment of Regent Mariner took a total of 20 days to complete. The ship now includes new suite accommodation, a wider range of dining options and revitalised interior spaces.
Regent’s president and chief executive officer, Jason Montague, commented: “I’m constantly amazed by the attention to detail that goes into our ships, and the newly refurbished Seven Seas Mariner is no different, from the luxurious décor down to the intricate design elements. With the culmination of our fleet-wide refurbishment program, and with the construction of Seven Seas Splendor underway, we are perfecting luxury and indeed have the most luxurious fleet at sea.”
All suites onboard have been refurbished with new beds, furniture and other small enhancements.
Many venues onboard have received a complete makeover with new art pieces being added and changes to the colour scheme to provide a more fresher look. Every restaurant on Regent Mariner have received new appearances, none more notably than Prime 7 Steakhouse and Compass Rose which have seen a number of design enhancements.
The popular dining venue Chartreuse which exists on Regent Explorer, has also been added to Regent Mariner, replacing Signatures.
It is not only the restaurants that have adopted a new look, but also the pool deck as well. To create a more expansive feel, the pool deck has been transformed to create more open space. There has been teak flooring added and a new mosaic-tiled pool. New teak decking along with extra sun loungers has been installed on deck 6.
Guests will also see a big change to the décor and furniture in all public spaces. This includes every space ranging from the Reception area to the library. The library has now moved position and boasts a different contemporary appearance. The space that was previously occupied by the library has been changed to offer extra seating for the Coffee Connection.
