Cunard Debuts New Cocktails

By Sovereign Cruise

Cunard Line’s signature cocktail bar, Commodore Club, has unveiled an exciting new menu of cocktails that have been inspired by the Knighted Cunard Commodores.

All three ships in the Cunard fleet include it’s own version of the Commodore Club, but each version highlights the remarkable craftsmanship that has gone into every individual drink. For example, Cunard have revealed that they will be serving the “Punch Romain a la Carpathia” which is believed to be the last drink that was served on the Titanic. This cocktail features Advocaat as the signature ingredient. This specific cocktail has been inspired by the heroic efforts of Commodore Sir Arthur Rostron who was responsible for the safe rescue of all Titanic survivors.

President of Cunard North America, Richard Meadows, commented: “Cunard has continued to receive recognition as a leader in world exploration within its more than 176-year history. We are proud to recognize seven of the most decorated Cunard commodores in Queen Mary 2’s iconic Commodore Club,  who have led the Cunard fleets and flagships throughout the company’s illustrious past. Inspired by character and history, each cocktail has been thoroughly created to honor their remarkable stories.”
