Scenic Group has confirmed that Emerald Kaia will set sail in April 2026 for her inaugural Mediterranean season, while construction is now underway on Emerald Raiya, ahead of her debut in June 2027.
The Emerald Kaia will embark on her maiden voyage on 4 April 2026, carrying up to 128 guests on an 11-day journey along the coastlines of Greece and Turkey. Sailing from Limassol to Athens, the itinerary will showcase the beauty of the Aegean Sea with immersive cultural encounters and visits to ancient landmarks.
This inaugural sailing coincides with both Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox Easter, giving guests the unique opportunity to experience local traditions and festive celebrations.
On board, guests will enjoy a host of new design features, including an Observation Sun Deck with spa pool and cabanas, the innovative Night Market dining concept, and expanded suite options with interconnecting layouts for families and groups. Wellness facilities will include an indoor/outdoor gym, a salt therapy lounge, and a cold plunge pool designed to balance relaxation and rejuvenation.
Following Emerald Kaia’s launch, Scenic Group is already preparing for the arrival of Emerald Raiya. Construction began on 20 August 2025 with the ceremonial cutting of the first steel at the Group’s shipyard partner in Vietnam. The event was attended by senior figures, including Ivo Skelin, General Manager of Design and Development Projects at Scenic Group.
