Four Seasons Yachts Unveils Groundbreaking Marina Experience Ahead of 2026 Launch

In anticipation of its maiden voyage in 2026, Four Seasons I—the inaugural vessel in the Four Seasons Yachts fleet—has revealed exciting new details about its signature marina experience and curated seaside programming. Central to this announcement is the yacht’s revolutionary transverse marina, a state-of-the-art feature that opens on both sides of the vessel, placing guests at sea level for unmatched access to the water.

A Breakthrough in Maritime Design

Redefining traditional yacht architecture, the transverse marina introduces an innovative layout with two retractable platforms—port and starboard—alongside an expansive interior bar and lounge area. This transformative space spans the full width of the yacht, offering up to 676 square metres (7,275 square feet) of space during designated marina days. It is purposefully designed to host a wide array of activities including watersports, wellness sessions, leisurely relaxation, and open-air dining—capturing the essence of bespoke yachting.

Marina Days will be featured on most itineraries, highlighting exceptional destinations such as Mayreau Island and Soufrière Bay in the Caribbean, as well as the Gulf of Squillace and Monte Argentario in the Mediterranean. These exclusive days are carefully curated to spotlight serene, off-the-beaten-path locations, allowing guests to explore tranquil, unspoilt waters.

Elegant Design and Riviera-Inspired Interiors

Unlike conventional yachts with aft-positioned marinas, the transverse design offers superior sea access, greater flexibility, and enhanced stability. Spanning two decks, this dynamic space can accommodate up to 105 guests across its indoor and outdoor areas, including a sophisticated lounge, bar, and an extendable deck featuring a sea pool and sun loungers. The extendable watersports platform adds a further 351 square metres (3,778 square feet) of usable space with direct sea access, encouraging exploration and discovery.

Crafted by Tillberg Design of Sweden—internationally recognised for their Scandinavian design ethos and yacht expertise—the marina’s interiors are designed to reflect the refined elegance of the yacht’s residential-style suites.

“Our design focuses on creating a seamless connection with the sea, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality,” says Fredrik Johansson, Partner and Executive Director of Tillberg Design of Sweden. “Inspired by the dining terraces of the South of France, we’ve aimed to evoke a relaxed yet refined ambience aboard the yacht.”

Curated Experiences from Sunrise to Sunset

On days when the yacht is anchored—most commonly on Mediterranean and Caribbean sailings—the marina transforms into a private floating resort, offering guests an extraordinary sea-level perspective.

As dawn breaks, early risers are invited to begin their day with yoga sessions on deck, followed by nourishing smoothies and guided meditation. As the sun climbs higher, the marina evolves into a vibrant hub of activity, where guests can enjoy hand-crafted cocktails while taking in panoramic views of idyllic coves and ports.

Active guests can make use of electric hydrofoils, water bikes, and pedalboards for immersive coastal exploration, while those seeking tranquillity can opt for leisurely kayaking or floating waterboards. A protected sea-water dipping pool, built into the platform, offers a serene alternative for those who wish to stay close to the yacht.

“Guests will discover breathtaking destinations, secluded bays, and hidden coves while enjoying adventures aboard paddleboards, kayaks, and an array of superyacht water toys,” says Tim Littley, Vice President of Itinerary and Planning at Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts. “These Marina Days bring a unique spirit of exploration and playfulness to every voyage.”

The Grand Touring Experience: Yachting, Elevated

For those seeking an even more exclusive way to explore coastal destinations, the Grand Touring Experience introduces two bespoke excursion options available while at anchor or in select ports: the Limo Tender and the Beachlander.

The Limo Tender offers a fully customisable luxury outing aboard a 10-metre (32-foot) vessel, complete with a private captain and tailored service. Ideal for intimate escapes or small group adventures, this experience provides a refined and flexible way to discover destinations in comfort and style.

Meanwhile, the Beachlander—a high-speed, adventure-ready Ribeye vessel—offers direct access to private beach clubs, remote coves, vibrant reefs for snorkelling, and breathtaking coastal cruising.
