Oceania Cruises has revealed newly designed and reimagined luxury suite accommodations aboard Oceania Sonata, the first ship in the brand’s new Sonata Class, scheduled to debut in August 2027.
Designed for today’s luxury cruise traveler, the Oceania Sonata will feature an expanded selection of suites, with suites making up 33 percent of the ship’s total accommodations. The new designs emphasize spacious layouts, refined materials, and elevated comfort.
“We have listened closely to the desires of our guests and are delighted to unveil the Oceania Sonata’s thoughtfully reimagined suite accommodations,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “The Oceania Sonata is a triumph of spacious design and meticulous craftsmanship, delivering our unwavering commitment to extraordinary experiences and our unique brand of hospitality.”
Owner’s Suites and Vista Suites Highlight Premium Offerings
According to the company, the ship will feature four expansive Owner’s Suites, each spanning more than 2,500 square feet. Located on the aft corners of Decks 10 and 11, the suites offer sweeping 180-degree ocean views. In a first for Oceania Cruises, each Owner’s Suite includes two appointed bedrooms.
The Oceania Sonata will also offer eight Vista Suites ranging from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet. Terraced at the aft of the ship, these suites feature plush furnishings, marble accents, and generous living and dining areas. The master bathrooms are equipped with double vanities, a rainforest shower, and a porcelain soaking tub.

Expanded Suite Categories Across the Ship
Sixteen Oceania Suites, measuring between 1,000 and more than 1,400 square feet, will feature private teak verandas, king-size beds, and marble-clad bathrooms.
Positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories, the 50 Horizon Suites offer more than 600 square feet of space. These suites feature separate living and sleeping areas, a walk-through wardrobe, and oversized verandas furnished for lounging.
The ship will also debut 63 Penthouse Suites and 82 new Penthouse Deluxe Suites, measuring 426 and 488 square feet, respectively. Both categories include oversized living areas, floor-to-ceiling glass doors with panoramic ocean views, and private verandas.
