Ponant Explorations Group has announced the launch of its fourth brand, Ponant Yachting, introducing a fleet of luxury catamarans designed for families and groups of friends.
The new fleet will feature Spirit of Ponant II, a recently acquired vessel built in France as part of the Lagoon EIGHTY 2 series. Measuring 24.97 meters and offering five double staterooms, Spirit of Ponant II combines contemporary design with exceptional comfort. It will be the group’s 22nd vessel and is set to debut in Polynesia in late 2026.
By the end of 2026, Ponant Yachting will operate three catamarans, including Spirit of Ponant and La Désirade, sailing to destinations across the Mediterranean, Seychelles, Caribbean, and Polynesia.
Each catamaran will host nine to twelve guests with a dedicated crew of four, offering an intimate yachting experience. Voyages will include all-inclusive features such as exclusive itineraries, personalized activities, refined gastronomy, curated wine and cocktail selections, bespoke menus, and a wide range of nautical activities.
