Silversea’s newest luxury ship, Silver Muse, was launched by Fincantieri last Friday at its shipyard in Genoa Sestri Ponente.
The main focus now is on the hotel outfitting of the ship with its expected delivery being April 2017.
Silver Muse will be the new flagship of the Silversea brand and it will weigh a total of 40,700 tons, accommodating 596 passengers. It will redefine luxury ocean travel by enhancing the small-ship intimacy and spacious all-suite accommodations that define the Silversea experience.
It has been recently announced that Silver Muse will feature 26 diverse food concepts spread across 8 separate dining venues. Culinary Director Rudi Scholdis has stated: “We have done away with the main dining room and replaced it with three restaurants. And we are installing bars in the center of two restaurants. Just like a restaurant in New York or London, guests can come and have a drink at the bar while waiting for their dinner party.”
Similarly to the other Silversea ships, the chefs will deliver high-quality food and beverages for guests to enjoy. Silver Muse will feature many signature restaurants such as the MaDame by Relais & Chateaux for fine French cuisine, Alantide for seafood, Kabuki for teppanyaki and sashimi, Indochine for Asian dishes, La Terrazza for Italian cuisine and the Hot Rock concept which will remain for dinner.
