Virgin Voyages have announced their food and beverage venues, including Razzle Dazzle which is set to be Scarlet Lady’s most spectacular culinary attraction.
“Razzle Dazzle is vegetarian forward but there is something for everyone to enjoy,” Virgin said. However the fun does not end where the food begins, there is still so much more for sailors to discover. Before or after you meal make your way to the Red Bar, which is Virgin’s resident diva’s favourite spot on the entire ship. The Razzle Dazzle bar will be serving the perfect blend of naughty and nice. If you are feeling nice, you can order from the list of freshly pressed juices and tonics. If you are feeling naughty, Virgin will have an exceptional range of cocktails which will vary each night.
Razzle Dazzle will also be home to the Drag Brunch, a take on one of the most popular activities to help guests “nurse that hangover while working on a new one.” According to Virgin “For two days on every voyage, our dashing, delightful, beautiful, sassy, scandalous and scintillatingly spectacular drag queens will take over this space to provide some entertainment even Sin City would not know what to do with.”
Other venues include the Wake restaurant, Test Kitchen and The Pizza Place.
Keeping in tradition with Virgin Voyages ripping up the rule books, there will not be a traditional buffet onboard Scarlet Lady as all food will be cooked to order. The Galley will instead feature a made-to-order food market (pictured below). Virgin said “All of our food will be made to order. In doing this, we’re cutting back on waste, drastically lowering our energy usage and emissions and setting up Scarlet Lady to be the future of sustainable sea travel”.
In addition there will be an upscale Mexican venue which is named Pink Agave and there will be an Italian restaurant called Extra Virgin and will be offering a menu of traditional Italian foods. The Korean BBQ will be another highlight onboard Scarlet Lady with the Geonbae venue offering top-shelf soju shots.
Virgin Voyages will debut Scarlet Lady in early 2020 sailing from Miami and offering Caribbean voyages which will feature Havana. All restaurants offered on Scarlet Lady will be included in the fare, allowing you so much flexibility to experience these amazing food venues.
